I still rely on Telnet. The problem is Windows 7 does not enable the Telnet client by default. Well here's how in 5 quick steps!
- Start Button then select the Control Panel
- Select Programs And Features
- Select Turn Windows Features On or Off
- Check off the Telnet Client
- Select OK
